Prince Iyoha has been an encouragement and hope to this church and all the members".

Continuing, he said; "we wish to appreciate him for registering 100 students for their West African School Certificate, even before he was made the local government Chairman".

Thanking God for his grace and mercies, Hon. Iyoha announced to the congregation that he was in the Church to ask God to support him for the election, and a number of the members and Pastor joined him in prayer, and today, he has come to return all the glory to God, in line with his promise.

Following the church service, a reception was held at the Chairman's residence in Uromi, where guests gathered to celebrate with him and share in the joy of the occasion.

Among the dignitaries who attended the reception was the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Mrs. Harriet Momodu, whose presence further underscored the spirit of friendship, solidarity and cordial relations among political leaders in the area.

Speaking with Winning Reporters, on the significance of the occasion, Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, stressed on the need for individuals, particularly those entrusted with leadership responsibilities, to always appreciate God for His mercies, provisions, protection and upliftment.

According to him, thanksgiving should not be limited to moments of celebration but should remain an essential part of human life, especially when individuals reflect on their achievements and the challenges they have overcome.

The Esan Central council chairman noted that acknowledging God in moments of success demonstrates humility and recognition of the divine grace that sustains individuals through different phases of life.

He further emphasised that human efforts, political strategies and personal ambitions, while important, cannot replace the place of God in the affairs of humanity.

In his words, "Without God, we can do nothing; but with God, all things are possible."

Prince Momodu's remarks highlighted the importance of faith, gratitude and humility in leadership, while encouraging people to remain conscious of their responsibilities to God and humanity, irrespective of their positions or achievements.
