Edo State TMB, Trado-medical Practitioners, Dispels Rumour of Faceoff By: Our Correspondent The Chairman, Edo State Traditional Medicines Board, TMB, High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, in an interactive session he held with Trado-medical practitioners in Edo state, on Monday, 10th of August 2026, cleared the air with respect to the rumour making the rounds with respect to the call for the registration of shrines and ancestral worship centres with the board. The meeting which brought together traditional medicine practitioners, Princesses of Oluku goddess and Chief Priests of shrines was meant to sort out grey areas, and correct the misconceptions in some Quarters, that the board is poised to coerce practitioners to register their shrines, temples, and ancestral worship centres. Chief Ugbesia Condemns Activities of Herdsmen Over Grazing On Botanical Garden in Ehor. By: Our Correspondent The Chairman, Edo State Traditional Medicine Board, TMB, High Chief Abudu Godwin Ugbesia, JP, has warned herdsmen to refrain from grazing their cows on the Botanical Garden cultivated in Uhuwonmde Local Government Area. Chief Ugbesia who led staff of the Board for the final stage of planting medicinal plants at the Botanical garden in Eguaholor, Uhuwonmde Local Government Area, condemned in strong terms, the destruction done to the Botanical garden by the unwholesome activities of herdsmen.
