Chief Ugbesia Condemns Activities of Herdsmen Over Grazing On Botanical Garden in Ehor. By: Our Correspondent The Chairman, Edo State Traditional Medicine Board, TMB, High Chief Abudu Godwin Ugbesia, JP, has warned herdsmen to refrain from grazing their cows on the Botanical Garden cultivated in Uhuwonmde Local Government Area. Chief Ugbesia who led staff of the Board for the final stage of planting medicinal plants at the Botanical garden in Eguaholor, Uhuwonmde Local Government Area, condemned in strong terms, the destruction done to the Botanical garden by the unwholesome activities of herdsmen. Chief Ugbesia who warned herdsmen to stringently control their cows while grazing, as the Botanical garden was allocated to Edo state TMB, from the state government forest Reserve in Ehor, also made it clear that, every inch of the garden, is not meant for grazing, saying; " grazing on the Botanical garden, can lead to the destruction of valuable herbs that are deliberately planted for ...

Uduojie Family Set To Celebrate Life Lived By Their  Matriarch By: Our Correspondent The family of Uduojie, in Ikekogbe-Irrua, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area of Edo state, is set to celebrate the life lived by their Matriarch, Late Mrs. Regina Uduojie, Nee Jatto, who departed this world at the age of 79, on the 5th of June 2026. According to the family, the two-day event will begin on Friday, 4th September 2026, and end on Sunday, the 5th of September 2026.  On Friday, 4th September, by 10:00am, her body will leave Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, to her compound, Uduojie compound in Ikekogbe-Irrua, where it will be lying in state for a Service of Songs scheduled for 3:00pm You at same venue. Interment follows thereafter. Entertainment of guests will hold on Saturday, the 5th of September 2026, at her residence, Uduojie compound in Ikekogbe-Irrua. Illicit Drug Dealers To Face Prosecution By NDLEA  -Chairman, Edo  TMB.
