Barrage of Goodwill Messages, Visits, Trail Prince Momodu's Emergence, Resumption as ECLG Chairman

The Safety Unit of the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, Irrua, led by Mr. Okosun Pascal, and members of the Sustainable Development Mobilization Organization, SDMO, led by Mr. Daniel Okojie, on Tuesday October 6, 2026, visited the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, Area, Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, to congratulate him on his emergence and assumption of office as Chairman of the council.
The delegation from the ISTH Safety Unit presented a letter of congratulation to the Chairman, expressing confidence in his leadership capacity and commitment to the development of Esan Central.
The letter, reads in part: “On behalf of the Safety Unit of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua, we heartily felicitate with you on your well-deserved election and swearing-in as the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area, Edo State.”
The unit described the Chairman's emergence as a testament to the confidence and trust reposed in him by the people of Esan Central, expressing optimism that his administration will bring renewed hope, accelerated development and greater progress to the local government area.
The Safety Unit also wished the Chairman a successful tenure and assured him of its goodwill and support as he continues to serve the people.
Speaking during their visit, the Convener of SDMO, Mr. Daniel Okojie, congratulated Hon. Prince Momodu and expressed the organization's readiness to work towards initiatives aimed at promoting development and political mobilization.
Okojie disclosed that SDMO is poised to work towards achieving its target of mobilizing 2.5 million votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, in the forthcoming Presidential election.
He said the organization will continue to mobilize support and engage stakeholders in the pursuit of its objectives.
In his response to the groups, ECLG Chairman, Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, appreciated the ISTH Safety Unit and members of SDMO for their visits and congratulatory messages.
He assured them of his administration's commitment to inclusive governance and development, stressing the need for individuals, groups and organizations to work together in advancing the interests of Esan Central.
The Chairman said; "...I appreciate your visits. Be rest assured that, my office is open at all time for you. We are together in this journey of moving Esan Central Local Government Area to greater heights".
Earlier last week however, the Head of Department, HoD, Environmental, of Esan Central Local Government area, Sanitarian Mrs. Christiana Akhere Egbele, the Chairman and CEO Alowitz Publishers, Benin, the Esan Central Local Government Area Nurses, including Mrs J. O Eriata, Director of Nursing Services, DNS, ECLG area, Mrs. Beatrice Agboifoh, Mrs. Ehi Enato and Mrs. Palmer Grace, and members of Irrua Everyday Market Women Association, also paid courtesy visits to and felicitated the Chairman on his emergence, inauguration and assumption of Office as the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area.
