The Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, Area, Edo state, Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, on Friday 18th September 2026, went on an inspection tour to the completed headmaster's apartment built inside the premises of Ujabhole Primary School, Uwessan.

After the inspection of the project, Hon. Momodu who expressed satisfaction at the quality of the materials used in building the headmaster's lodge, said; "this building will go a long way in not only adding value to the beauty of the environment, it will also enhance the punctuality of the teachers to their duty posts".


"... This project will be commissioned soon. God helping me, more of this kind of projects will be coming up, it's all about our people".


Also, Mrs. Oboh, a teacher in the school, appreciated the Esan Central local government authority for building the headmaster lodge saying, the project will ensure punctuality of the residents, as they will be staying within the school premises.


Hon. Henshaw Oligbi, an indigene of Uwessan, the Managing Director, Edo State Transport Authority, and an alumni of the school, who was the General monitor of the school in 1986, commended the effort of Esan Central local government authority in ensuring that the project is completed.


Hon. Oligbi said; "...what Esan Central Local Government Council authority has done in this primary school, is laudable and it is something we are suggesting should be replicated in other primary schools across Esan Central".


"...apart from the fact that, it keeps staff within the school premises, thereby enhancing their punctuality, the presence of the headteacher in the school premises, also provide internal security for the school, as it will keep vandals at bay".


Hon. Oligbi who urged the present administration of Esan Central Local Government Area to replicate same projects in other schools across the local government, also advised the community to take ownership of the property, saying; "as far as government has provided the facility for use by the school, the community should take over ownership of the facility and ensure that the property is maintained".
