The Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Dr. Jerry Uwangue, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his 56th birthday.

Dr. Uwangue, in a goodwill message to the Governor, described the occasion as a moment to celebrate a leader whose life has been defined by dedication to public service, courage, humility and an unwavering commitment to the progress and development of Edo State.


The Commissioner noted that since assuming office as Governor, Senator Okpebholo has demonstrated a strong passion for good governance and the welfare of the people, while providing purposeful leadership across critical sectors of the state's economy.


According to Dr. Uwangue, Governor Okpebholo's commitment to the development of agriculture and the promotion of food security reflects his administration's determination to build a prosperous and self-sufficient Edo State.


He commended the Governor for the support and encouragement given to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, describing such support as instrumental to the efforts being made to strengthen agricultural production and improve food availability across the state.


“On behalf of my family, the management and staff of the Edo State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, I heartily congratulate Your Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the joyous occasion of your 56th birthday.


“Your Excellency's life of service and dedication to the people remains an inspiration. Your leadership, vision and commitment to the development of Edo State are evident in the renewed hope that your administration has brought to our people.


“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, we pray that Almighty God will continue to bless you with sound health, divine wisdom, strength and many more fruitful years to lead Edo State to greater heights.”


Dr. Uwangue wished the Governor a joyous birthday celebration and expressed confidence that under his leadership, Edo State would continue on the path of sustainable development, economic prosperity and food security.


He urged the people of Edo State to continue to support Governor Okpebholo's administration and join hands with the government in building a stronger and more prosperous state for present and future generations.
