My dear Executive Governor, I join all well-meaning sons and daughters of Edo State to celebrate with you on your birthday today, 29th August, 2026.


At 56 years, you have steadily risen to become both an inspiration to your generation, and an embodiment of the much needed example of what good governance entails in our country. 


Looking ahead, I wish you well as you trudge with the fear of God, in your impressive trajectory towards excellent service delivery to the good people of Edo State. 


It is my prayer that your leadership will culminate in enduring prosperity, and happiness for the resilient populace of our dear state. 


While congratulating you on this auspicious occasion, it is my hope that you will continue to build on the relative achievements made so far within the short span of your administration.

By: Oriaifoh Godwins Edo state has been relatively peaceful in the past one year of Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration. However, the state, has been witnessing questionable  pockets of criminalities in recent times. Senator Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo state, on assumption of office, maintained that he has zero tolerance for criminal activities and all form of criminalities.
