Ugbesia Congratulates Edo Gov's LG Chairman -elect, Ward Councilor

Following the emergence of Hon Prince Abdulahi Momodu, aka, Superlee, as the Chairman elect for Esan Central local government area, in the Edo State local government election that held today, 11th July 2026, the Chairman, Edo State Traditional Medicines Board, TMB, High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, has sent a congratulatory message to the Chairman elect, and Hon. Hon. Matthew Ebhotemen, aka Apostle, the Councillor elect for his ward, ward 1, of the local government.


Speaking with our reporter, in his country home, Ibore Irrua, after the election, Chief Ugbesia who thanked the people of Esan Central, for coming out enmase to vote for Hon. Prince Abdulahi Momodu as the Chairman of Esan Central, and Hon. Matthew Ebhotemen, as the Councillor for his ward, Chief Ugbesia said; " I am confident that the Chairman elect will add quality value to this local government, and the people will be happy for it".

"My confidence in Prince Abdulahi to deliver value for this local government, is because, as the son of the Ogirrua of Irrua kingdom and the Okaijesan of Esanland, he has a strong stake in this local government. He cannot afford to fail the palace and the people of the local government". Chief Ugbesia said.

Edo state governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, hails from Esan Central local government area.
