Under Governor Okpebholo, Edo is definitely in safe hands.

I said it before, and without any reservation, or fear of contradiction, I am saying it again: Edo state, under Governor Monday Okpebholo, is no doubt in safe hands.

I write as a full blooded citizen of Edo State, who has witnessed the full tenure/administration of a number of Edo State Governors in the past, and who is also witnessing the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo, in the past, close to only two years now, and all I can say is "Edo state is truly rising".

Again, I write as an Edo state citizen who is seeing Governor Monday Okpebholo, constructing two flyovers at the same time, in Benin city. I am an Edo man who is seeing the dualisation of roads, as well as the rehabilitation of many others, in Edo Central; who is seeing the employment of over five thousand teachers, and more than five thousand others being employed into the civil service, I am seeing the administration that says what it means, and do exactly what it says. Without mincing words, I am seeing the administration that has successfully reduced cultism to its barest minimum, which has also effectively curbed incessant violent killings in the state. Penultimate to the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo, I hope we have not forgotten how cultists turned Benin to a war zone? In the past close to two years now, i have seen a governor with a human face; a governor that, even from a distance, can feel the pulse of his people, hence act accordingly, and I am seeing a governor who is proactive in keeping kidnappers, bandits, herdsmen, and all such criminal elements at bay. I have seen Akpakomiza at work in less than two years of his administration, and I have finally concluded that; "Governance is not rocket science, and governance is not how much grammar you can speak; it is more of intelligence to know what to do, and at what time. Governance, is having the interest of the people at heart, and putting the people first", as being displayed by the governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Recently, security alert revealed that, the so called bandits, or terrorist were planning to carry out their infamous act in Edo North; Our governor, expectedly moved swiftly by recruiting forest guards to monitor activities in our forests. 

Again, in vegetable market, off Airport road, Benin, some criminals were reported to have kidnapped a woman, but under Governor Okpebholo's watch, they were not only apprehended, the ransom they collected, was also recovered. This is a Governor that means well for the people. Akpakomiza gave a marching order to the security outfits in the state to ensure that the criminals are smoked out of their holes, and that order, was followed to the letter.

As revealed in the accompanying video, Governor Okpebholo has revealed that, some criminal elements amongst us, have been apprehended as enablers of Kidnappers in Edo state. I only have one advise for such people. "Your knowledge that, there is a new Sheriff in town, is the beginning of your wisdom. Know this, otherwise, you learn the hard way".

In spite of all the exploits of Edo State Governor, expectedly, the nay sayers are also working around the clock to discredit this hard working governor, but I only have one message for such people:

"When you see Akpakomiza doing something good, say something good about him. Don't cover your face in shame".
