The Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalahimi Iyere, has described Alhaji W.O Momodu, ll, JP, CON, the Ogirrua of Irrua kingdom, and the Okaijesan of Esanland as an uncommon leader, and a blessing to Irrua kingdom and Esanland, saying; "The reign of Alhaji W.O Momodu II, witnessed the rise of Irrua kingdom and Esanland to limelight.

Speaking with Winning Media Online, Rt. Hon. Iyere said: "Without any fear of contradiction, you will agree with me that, our highly esteemed Zaiki, is one of a kind; he is a rare gem, and a highly revered one at that".


"Irrua kingdom, and indeed Esanland is highly blessed to have a personality like him as as a king".


"Recall that in his reign, Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, an Irrua man, rose to become the number two man in Nigeria. Today, we can boast of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, courtesy of Admiral Augustus Aikhomu. Again, still during his reign, Senator Monday Okpebholo, became the governor of Edo State, and we are seeing the several developments springing up in Irrua kingdom, Esanland and Edo State. Alhaji W.O Momodu II, the Okaijesan of Esanland, and the Ojirrua of Irrua Kingdom, deserve to be celebrated". Hon. Iyere said.


Finally, the Esan Central local government boss, who prayed for more wisdom for the Ogirrua, used the opportunity to congratulate him for  his 55 years on the throne.
