Esan Central LG Works Department Gets Facelift

For years, the Works Department Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area of Edo state, has been in a sorry state, as the ramshackle building has been begging for attention over the years.
The Chairman of the local government, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, seeing the relevance and importance of the Works Department, just like every other department, to the local government council, decided to give the Works Department building, a face lift.
The entire roof of the Works Department was removed, general maintenance, including painting and electrification of the building has been carried out, even as work is still in progress in giving the department building a proper facelift.
Speaking with Winning Media, Rt. Hon. Iyere who said; “… we are doing all we can, to ensure that no stone is left unturned, in creating a befitting environment for the local government staff to work”, also added that; “… we will continue to raise the standards in delivering the dividends of good governance to the people just as our governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo is doing”.
“The governor is our boss and we have no choice but to follow the template laid down by him in terms of good governance. He concluded.
