Submit Your Uniforms If You Are Not Ready To Work
-Coordinator, tells Edo Security Corps Operatives

Following the renewed attention that the governor of Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo is giving to the members of Edo State Security Corps, the Edo Central Coordinator of the Corps, Hon. Joel Aidamebor, aka MINDCAST, today, Tuesday, 20th January 2026, has warned all members and operatives of Edo State Security Corps operating in Edo Central Senatorial district, to kindly submit their uniforms and every other belongings of the Corps, if they are not ready for serious work.
Hon. Aidamebor issued this strong warning today, while addressing the members of the Security Corps in Esan Central local government area Secretariat Council, informing them of the new operational strategies, saying; "...now that the state government has decided to begin to pay the members of the Security Corps, any member of the Corps found wanting, will be dealt with according to the law".
He added that; "...the main responsibility of the Corps members is to secure our bushes and the flashpoints where kidnappers are known for entering our communities. They are not expected to be escorts to VIP's and other persons". Saying; "...should anyone need the services of any member of the Corps, such an individual, is expected to officially apply for such service and the respective Commander, will also be aware of such; otherwise, any Corps member caught rendering such service, without official permission, will be summarily dismissed".
The Esan Central Coordinator, who thanked Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo state for his support for Edo State Security Corps, also added that; "...to whom much is given, much is also expected; in view of this, we will leave no stone unturned in our efforts at putting these kidnappers and other criminals out of business. This is the only way we can prove to the governor that we appreciate his support for us."
Also present at the scene of the address, are the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, the Secretary to the Local Government Area Council, Pastor Davies Oigbochie, and the Head of Service to the Local Government Area Council, Mrs. Mrs. Rita Ogun.
Hon. Tunde Abu, aka Ominimini, the Senior Special Adviser, SSA, to Edo State Governor on Traditional Medicines, was also present to give moral and other support to the Security Corps.
