Eguare Health Centre, Irrua, To Receive Facelifts

In line with the promise of Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, that, all the Wards in the local government area will experience the dividends of democracy, on Monday, the 5th of January 2026, the local government Boss, visited Irrua Health centre on Usugbenu Road junction, Eguare-Irrua, to inspect the facility with a view to renovate it and ensure it meets with todays health service delivery.
Speaking with our Correspondent, Rt. Hon. Iyere, who reaffirmed his promise to the people of the local government area, also pointed out that; “…all we are trying to do, is to make a difference, just like our Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo doing”.
Continuing, Rt. Hon. Iyere said; “… we all know how important health is to every human being, which is why it is often put first, as it is often said that, Health is Wealth…”
“... what we have come to do today, is to get a first hand knowledge and assessment of the state of this health facility, with a view of doing what we need to do and make it befitting for health delivery services…”
It will be Recalled that, Ward 4, Eidenu, Ikekato, Agua; Ward 9, Opoji; Wards 2,3 and 5, have all benefited one way, or the other from the practical style of governance of the Chairman, Esan Central local government area, as introduced by the Governo of Edo state, H.E Senator Monday Okpebholo.
The Eguare-Irrua Health center, will be the second to be renovated/remodelled, as the Eidenu Health center, was earlier remodelled by the Chairman, with a Perimeter Fence, and a Security Post.
Also with the Chairman, on the inspection visit, is the Secretary to the local government, Pastor Davies Oigbochie, the Head of Department of Works, Engineer Ebosele and the Head of Department, of Procurement, Mr. Gaius Obiyan.
