A member of Tinubu Presidential Campaign Campaign Council, in 2023, Dr. Goddy Osa Igbaekemen, in an exclusive chat with Winning Media, has hailed Governor Monday Okpebholo's practical and transformational leadership style, saying; "...Edo State Is Lucky To Have Senator Monday Okpebholo As Governor. We have never had it this good in the past eight years. For me, it appears God brought Governor Monday Okpebholo to open the eyes of the people of Edo state to see what government is capable of doing".
"There is no doubting the fact that, the people of Edo State, now know the difference between 'talk, talk, talk' and 'work, work, work'. In view of this, it is crystal clear, that Senator Okpebolo's second tenure is non negotiable. If what we are seeing today can be achieved in one year, you can imagine how Edo state will look like in four years". Dr. Igbaekemen said.
Continuing, Igbaekemen, who said, Okpebholo has been able to make clear difference, by employing over five thousand teachers, embarking on constructing flyovers in Benin, first of it's kind in the history of the state, dualizing the Irrua-Uromi-Ubiaja road, and even embarking on the reconstruction of Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi road, amongst several others, "there is no doubting the fact that these people oriented projects and activities, are speaking volumes, and will speak louder in favour of Governor Monday Okpebholo, to earn him a second tenure".
Finally, Dr. Igbaekemen hailed Governor Okpebholo for his proactive measures in tackling security challenges in the state, as cult clashes, and related security challenges that were common in the state, especially towards the end of the year, was not experienced since he became the governor of Edo state.
