Ominimini Appointed SSA To Edo State Governor

Hon. Chief, Dr. Tunde, Abu aka Ominimini, a renowned tradomedical doctor, has been appointed as a Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to Edo State governor on traditional medicine in Edo state.
In an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, on his appointment, Chief, Ominimini said; “I am immensely grateful to His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo for this appointment".
"For me, this appointment further shows that our governor, His Excellency Senator Okpebholo, not only recognise Edo state Traditional Medicine practitioners, he also recognise me as somebody that can be entrusted with the responsibility to oversee activities of the traditional medicine practitioners in Edo state, with the aim of regulating our practices in the state".
Continuing Chief Ominimini pointed out that he will liaise with the Chairman of Edo state Traditional Medicine Board, TMB, to ensure that the activities of traditional medicines practitioners in the states is sanitised in a way that the people will begin to have trust and confidence in the use of traditional medicines; “… there are powers and wonders in roots and herbs”. He said.
