How Esan Central LGA Council Chairman, Turned Refuse Stalls To Market Stores
By: Our Correspondent
Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, aka the UNCOMMON CHAIRMAN, one week after he was sworn into office as the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area went on an inspection tour to Irrua market, where he discovered that some of the stalls right inside the market, has been turned to a dump site, as a result of the indiscriminate dumping of refuse there by the people residing around the market.
The Chairman immediately put machineries in place to evacuate the refuse, demolish the stalls, and rebuild five stores in the place; and today, the dump site stalls where heavy stench of foul odour normally ooze from, especially during rainy seasons, that has been so for the past over 8 years, has been replaced by a beautiful edifice of five lock-up stores.
Today, the dirty environment is gone. The foul odour is gone. The ramshackle makeshift counters are gone.
This is truly UNCOMMON.
