Edo City Transport Services (ECTS) Reaffirms Commitment to Excellent Service Delivery

High Chief Robert Okoinemen, the Chairman, Board of Directors of Edo City Transport Service, ECTS, has pointed out that, In its continued drive to provide world-class public transportation solutions, the Agency is committed to delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused services to the people of Edo State.
Speaking recently, at a recent stakeholder engagement session in Benin City, Chief Okoinemen emphasized that the agency remains focused on improving operational efficiency, expanding routes, and ensuring that every passenger enjoys a seamless travel experience within and outside the state.
The Chairman of the Board said; "Our goal is not just to move people from one point to another, but to do so with excellence.”
“ECTS is committed to raising the standard of urban transport in Edo state, by leveraging innovation, discipline, and quality service delivery.”
High Chief Okoinemen also revealed that, in other to enhance passengers' experience, ECTS will introduce cashless payment systems, GPS-enabled buses for real-time tracking, and the implementation of rigorous maintenance schedules, amongst other modalities, to ensure the highest safety standards.
In addition, Chief Okoinemen said; "we will prioritize the training and welfare of our drivers and staff, so as to ensure that they uphold the organization’s values of professionalism, courtesy, and integrity in their daily operations".
Continuing, he said, a well-organized transport system is essential for economic growth and social inclusion, adding that; "...ECTS’ commitment to excellence aligns with Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration’s broader agenda of building a sustainable and connected Edo State".
The Edo State Government has also promised to increase ECTS' fleet of busses, especially bearing in mind that, the company is a key partner in the state’s urban and inter-city mobility plan.
