ECTS Mang't Board, Congratulates Edo Gov. On Good Governance

High Chief Robert Okoinemen, the Chairman, Edo City Transport Service, ECTS, Board of Governors, and the members of the Board, has extended their heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his recent award for Good Governance.

In a statement issued by the Board and signed by the Chairman, the Board described the award as a well-deserved honour, noting that it highlights Governor Okpebholo’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the delivery of people-centered policies since his assumption of office, barely one year ago.


The statement reads, in part; "Edo City Transport Service, ECTS, Board of Governors, commends His Excellency Governor  Monday Okpebholo's visionary leadership and reforms which has not only strengthened governance structures in Edo state, but has also enhanced socio-economic development across all sectors, including the transport system".


Continuing, the Board pledged its continuous support for Governor Okpebholo's administration, particularly in advancing initiatives that will modernize the state’s transport service, improve efficiency, and ensure safer, more reliable mobility for the people of Edo state.


Governor Okpebholo’s recognition with the Good Governance Award has attracted commendations from various quarters, with observers noting that it reflects his administration’s focus on inclusive growth and sustainable development.


In an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, Chief Robert Okoinemen, the Chairman, ECTS, said; "...for me, Governor Monday Okpebholo, has so far demonstrated that a new Edo state is truly rising". 


"The bad roads that our vehicles were traveling on that quickly depreciates them in no time, are gradually being renovated, not to talk of the new breath that Ambrose Alli University, and other academic institutions are beginning to breathe; all of these, in less than one year of his administration. His practical style of governance must be commended". Chief Okoinemen said.
