Win Grassroots For APC, Okpebholo
...Edo state BBIGN Coordinator tells members

The members of Edo state Chapter of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, has been admonished to win the grassroots for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forth coming Edo Central Senatorial district, and Ovia South West/Ovia South East Federal Constituency by-elections scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025.
The Edo state Coordinator of the group, Hon. Comrade Oriaifoh Godwins, so admonished the members during a meeting the held in Benin recently.
Speaking, Comrade Oriaifoh said; "...we are grassroots mobilizers and in this coming election, we remain so, and we must be very active in so doing".
"... The current governor of Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, vacated Edo Central Senatorial seat to become the governor; as such, whoever is replacing him should also come from the APC. We must work to ensure we win Edo central for Okpebholo. He did not vacate that seat for another Political Party to occupy".
"In view of this, our work is very simple. We talk to people around us, and also encourage them to talk to people around them; this way, we will be able to capture the grassroots because it is our believe that, once the grassroot is won, then the election is won".
Comrade Oriaifoh, who continued by saying; "...the APC is in control at the Federal level, it is also in control at the state level, shouldn't lose the Senatorial and Federal constituency levels to any other party, especially bearing in mind that, it was earlier vacated by a member of the party"
"...the chain of cooperation among the political representatives of the APC must not be broken, so as to continually ensure the attraction of cooperation and dividends of democracy to the people especially the people at the grassroots".
The Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, a Corporate Affairs Commission, registered Socio- Political pressure group and an Umbrella body of Nigerians whose vision is geared towards grassroot mobilization for the All Progressive Congress, APC, across the states of the Federation, and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, is gradually spreading it's roots in Edo State to consolidate on the continuation of the actualization of the Renewed Hope Initiative, RHI, of the present administration of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Inauguration of the members of executive of Edo state Chapter of the group, as well as the South-South Summit of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, is scheduled to hold on August 23rd, 2025, at Urokpota hall, Benin.
