Watch Out, Be Careful Of Hijackers

The Chairman, Edo State Traditional Medicine Board, High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, JP, today, Monday 4th of August 2025 during a courtesy visits paid to him by the executives and some members of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, advised the pressure group to be very vigilant and watch out for those that would like to come and reap where they did not sow, saying I see this group going places. You have started well and I am amazed that you have membership in the 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory".
"You must be vigilant and careful of those that will later come and want to hijack the group from you..."
Finally, the Chairman, Edo state Traditional Medicines Board, said; "...I will give this organization all the support within my power, provided, my governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo state, is in support of your activities".
The Edo state Coordinator of the group, Hon. Comrade Oriaifoh Godwins, had earlier, during the meeting, informed the Chairman, Edo state Traditional Medicines Board, TMB, that the courtesy visit is important, and necessitated by the fact that, the group is mainly focused on grassroot mobilization, and he knows Chief Abudu Ugbesia, the Chairman of Edo state TMB, as a vibrant grass roots mobiliser, hence the need for BBIGN to partner with him to ensure the success of the upcoming Inauguration of the Executive members and the South-South Summit of the group.
On his part, Hon. Comrade Stanley Okpugie, the National Director of Ethics Rules and Protocols for BBIGN, also informed Chief Ugbesia that, BBIGN Edo State Chapter, will need the full support of the Chairman, Edo state Traditional Medicines Board, more importantly, because, Edo state is hosting the South-South Summit.
Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, a Socio-political pressure group, and an umbrella body of Nigerians whose vision is geared towards grassroots mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress, APC, across the states in the federation, will be holding it's South-South Summit and inauguration of the new Executive members of the group, on the 23rd August 2025 at Urokpota hall, Benin city.
