Esan Central LG Boss Presents Cassava Grinding Machine To Community
The Garri making businessmen and women of Idumebo Community, in Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo state, heaved a sigh of relief when on Saturday, 9th of August 2025, the Chairman, Esan central local government area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, presented the community with a Cassava grinding machine, to ease the problem of transporting their cassava to the nearby village for processing.
Speaking with a team of Journalists at the venue of the cassava milling factory, the local government Chairman, said; "...as an administration, we deem it fit, and necessary to present this grinding machine to this community, because we understand that people from this community normally go to the nearby village, to grind cassava which is another tedious task for them. As we are presenting this community with the machine, it is my believe that, the people have the capacity to manage the milling machine.
In an exclusive chat with WINNING MEDIA ONLINE, Hon. Eugene Okoloise, the Chairman, Edo state Agency for the Protection of Government properties, another prominent son of Idumebo Community, thanked the Chairman of Esan central local government area for his kind gesture to the people of his community, saying; "...on behalf of the people of Idumebo-Irrua, in general, and my people that are in the business of Garri making in particular, I want to specially thank our Chairman, Hon. Kevin Iyere, for presenting my community with this grinding machine. It will go a long way in easing the challenges the users have been facing before now".
"...I constructed the structure housing the machine. I was actually wanted to buy the machine, but thankfully, he stepped in. We will continue to collaborate in business of extending dividends of democracy to our people". Hon. Okoloise said.
Idumebo-Irrua, in Ward 6, of Esan Central local government area, is the latest Ward that the Chairman is extending his tentacles of dividends of democracy to, as Eidenu, Ward 4, Eguare-Irrua, Ward 5, Opoji, Ward 9 and a couple of others, have in one way or the other, felt the impact of the dividends of democracy from the less than one year of the uncommon Chairman in office.
