The Chairman made the promise on Tuesday, 12th August 2025, during the All Progressives Congress, APC, rally that held on the play field of Idinegbon Primary School, Eidenu-Irrua.

Iyere welcomed everyone to Ikekato, saying; "...I have nothing more to say, other than to thank our governor for all his efforts in bringing the dividends of democracy to the people of Edo state".

In an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, the Chairman said; "...by the grace of God, as far as this election is concerned we are not just talking about winning; our target is landslide victory and the outcome of the result, from my ward, Ward 4 in particular, and Esan Central Local Government Area, in general, will be a proof".

Governor Monday Okpebholo, while addressing the mammoth crowd at the rally ground in Idinegbon Primary School, Eidenu-Irrua, during the rally, thanked the people of Ward one and Ward 4, saying, they voted massively for him when he contested for the Senator to represent Edo central, and also when he contested for the position of the governor, adding that; "...in both cases, I won. This is how I want you to massively support Dr. Joseph Ikpea in the coming Senatorial election on Saturday". He said.

On his part, Hon. Barr. Anselm Ojezua, pointed out that Ward 4, Eidenu-Irrua, has no reason not to win massively, considering the fact that, the Senatorial Leader, Gen. Isesele Aigbokhan, aka Bossu, are all from the Ward.
