Chairman, Edo State Christian Pilgrims Board, Hails BBIGN, Calls For Unity, Focus, of Members

The Chairman, Edo State Christian Pilgrims Board, Reverend Frank Omobude, has congratulated the leadership of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, a Socio-political support group for the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the successful hosting of the group's South-South Summit, and inauguration of their executives members that held on Saturday the 23rd of August 2025, at Urokpota hall, Benin City, Edo state.

Delivering his Goodwill message at the venue of the event Rev. Omobude, who congratulated the zonal and Edo state Chapter of BBIGN, for the success of the Inauguration ceremony, and South-South Summit, advised members and executive officers of the group to discharge their duties without fear or favor, saying; "...you must avoid internal wranglings and prosecute your assignments and duties diligently".


Continuing, Reverend  Omobude, who said; "...your appointment is not to amass wealth, or deviate from the initial focus of standing with our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Mr. President, for 2027, and to ensure that the preparation of our dear governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, to deliver 2.5 million votes come 2027, for the APC, and aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of our President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take this country to a greater height".


Finally Reverend Omobude called on all and sundry to be assured that the APC government will alleviate poverty through the economic reforms that are being currently pronounced.


The South-South Summit and inauguration of the Executive members of the group, Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, was attended by members and executives of the group from the South-South states of Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states. The highlight of the event, was the delivery of speaches by the President of the group, Dr. Emmanuel Chigoziri Orgu, from Rivers State, Dr. Rex Ekah, the Deputy President, North Central zone, from Benue state, and Prince Emeka Kalu, the National President of  

the Radio Television Theatre Arts Workers Union, who was represented by

Dr. Terry Isaac Idahor, the National Vice President, South-South zone of  RATTAWU.
