Bridge Builders Meets BoT Chairman

Some National Leaders of Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, BBIGN, a Socio-political pressure group, and an umbrella body of Nigerians whose vision is geared towards grassroots mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress, APC, across the states in the federation, on Wednesday, 30th July, 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the group, Amb. Prof. Steve Davies Ubah in his office, to formally brief him on the progress so far made with respect to the planning of the Inauguration of members of Executive, and the South-South Summit of the group scheduled for Saturday, 23rd August, 2025 in Benin, Edo state.
Speaking on behalf of the BBIGN Team, Hon. Rex Eka, the Deputy Vice President, North Central, said; "... on behalf of our National President,

and the entire members of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria, we have come to formally inform you of the progress so far made with respect to our preparations for the Inauguration of our members of state executives in the South-South Zone, as well as the planned Summit for the zone".
The BBIGN National Leaders, also used the opportunity to inform their BoT Chairman, of their plans to visit key stakeholders that can support in one way or the other, in ensuring the success of the event.
Also, Hon. Stanley Okpugie used the opportunity to inform the BoT Chairman, that the new executive members of Edo state Chapter of the group, will also be inaugurated during the upcoming Summit, even as plans are underway for the National convention of the group and Summit, coming up later this year in September in Abuja, adding that, they also have plans to formally meet with the new APC National Chairman, as well as other critical National stakeholders before the Abuja convention.
Responding, the Board of Trustees Chairman, Amb. Prof. Ubah, who thanked them for their visit, also commended the vision and efforts of BBIGN as a grassroot mobilization group for the All Progressives Congress. The BBIGN BoT Chairman, also promised to give every needed support within his power in ensuring the success of the South-South Summit.
Other members of Executive of BBIGN, present, include the Deputy Vice President, North Central, Hon. Rex Eka, Dr. Koproda Charles Felix, the National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Stanley Okpugie, the National Director of Ethics and Protocols, amongst others.
