Ultra Modern Market of International Standard To Be Constructed In Irrua

The Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area of Edo state, Rt.  Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, has revealed that, plans are underway to begin the construction of an ultra modern market of international standard in Irrua, the headquarters of Esan Central Local Government area.

According to the Chairman, the market will also have a Police station and several other facilities that makes the Market meet international standard.


Rt. Hon. Iyere, the Chairman of the local government, who thanked the Governor of Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his consistency in his developmental efforts in the state, also said; "...this is the essence of governance; we are all seeing what our governor is doing in ensuring that the dividends of democracy gets to the Grassroot".


"...this is not the time to begin to talk about several other projects that our governor has been executing, in less than one year of his administration".

"We have never experienced anything like this before. May God continue to sustain Governor Monday Okpebholo as he delivers his practical style of governance that is positively imparting on the lives of the people of Edo state". He concluded. 


In a chat with Bldr. Asemota Omosigho, the Supervisor, Edo state Public Building and Mentainance Agency, EDPBMA, she revealed to Winning Media Online, that, all plans has been concluded to begin work on the site, saying; "...we are here to inspect the the site".


Continuing, she said; "According to the plan, the market has over Seven hundred stores, an Administrative block, a Police station, an Abattoir, a Hospital, Parking lots, Toilets, and several other facilities".

Also with Bldr. Asemota Omosigho, who led the team of Engineers to the Chairman's office, are; Architect Amiolemhen Michael Ose, Engr. Osaigbovo Iyamu, all of the EDPBMA, and the Project Coordinator, Engr. Ben Eigege, who also represented the contractor.
