...says Edo state is truly rising

The Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, on Sunday, 20th July 2025, hosted his kinsmen and Community in Eidenu-Irrua, to celebrate the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Supreme Court suit instituted against Senator Monday Okpebholo the governor of Edo state, and the APC, challenging the September 2024 victory of Senator Monday Okpebholo at the poll.
Speaking to a mammoth crowd that gathered at his country home in Eidenu, the Chairman said; "...I will remain thankful to Governor Monday Okpebholo and the APC Leadership of my local government, and Edo state, for the various positions that a number of us from this community are occupying, including the Chairman of this local government, to the member representing Esan Central constituency in Edo state House of Assembly, amongst others".
"This is unprecedented in the history of Eidenu, chiefly because we have always been dogmatically glued to one party; but now that we have aligned with the ruling party, both in the Edo state and at the federal level, we can be sure that, more dividends of democracy will get to us".
Addressing the crowd, the Esan Central APC
Chairman, Hon. Roland Ekeoba, commended the Chairman's Ward, for the kind of Political heavy weights in the ward, saying; "...the Edo central APC Senatorial Leader, General Cecil Esekhaigbe, the Chairman, of the local government, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere, Comrade Isesele Kelvin, amongst others".
On his part, the Esan Central All Progressives Congress Leader, Hon. Prince Willy Shaka Momodu, commended Rt. Hon. Iyere, the Chairman Esan Central Local Government Area, and also enjoined the people of Ward 4, Eidenu-Irrua to continue to support him and the government of Senator Monday Okpebholo.
Those present, include, the Leader, Esan Central Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Famous Aihinoria Ebanehita, Hon. Kelvin Okpiahior, representing Ward 1, in the Legislative Arm of the local government, Hon. Washington Egbele George, and Hon. Isaac Onoigboria, who represents Wards 6 and 7 respectively.
The Esan Central APC leader, Hon. Prince Willy Shaka Momodu, Hon. Mike Inetiabor, the Ward 4 Leader, High Chief Emotion Sunday, the ward 4, APC Chairman, Mrs. Oriasotie, the Ward 4 APC Woman Leader, amongst others, were present at the event.
