Chairman, Esan Central LG Council, Charge Contractors To Complete Market Stores In One Week.

Despite the accolades that are being showered on the efforts of Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area Council, with respect to his various efforts in the Health, Energy, Environmental etc sectors of the local government area, with the aim of making life better for the people of Esan Central, the Chairman is not relenting in his efforts at creating the right environment for people of Esan Central to thrive as he ordered the contractor responsible for the building of the Irrua Market Stores to complete the structure in the next one week.
The Local Government Boss, during his visit to the fifty units of lockup stores in Irrua Market, yesterday, Monday 21st July 2025, he expressed disappointment over the slow pace of work by the contractors.
Speaking with the contractor and the site Engineer, the Chairman said; “…I am not happy with the pace of work here, you need to speed up actions, if you must employ more hands, please do, because I want this work completed in the next one week”.
Again Hon. Iyere expressed serious concern over the yearly accumulation of flood in some areas in the market, and he urged the engineer to work out practical ways by which the seating of the drains/gutter that channels the flood out of the market can be renovated, so as to curb the gathering of the flood in the market arena.
