Edo State Traditional Medicines Board To Hold Stakeholders' Meeting

The Edo state Traditional Medicines Board, is to hold a stakeholders meeting to discuss salient issues pertaining to Tradomedical practices in Edo state.
The stakeholders' meeting, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 8th April 2025, by 10:00am, at the Festival Hall, Government House, Benin city.

"The upcoming stakeholders meeting, is aimed to create unity, make clear our mode of operations, educate the public on the importance of traditional medicines in Edo state in particular, and Nigeria in general, that has long been abandoned, and most importantly, create a new image of Edo state Traditional Medicines Practitioners".
Continuing, Chief Ugbesia said, before now, people had a lot of negative impressions about administration and use of traditional medicines, but we are determined to change all negative perspectives, and create a new image for our practitioners.
The Chairman of Edo state Traditional Medicines Board, concluded by saying; "If China and some other countries can develop their traditional medicines to the extent that, they are recognised globally today, then Nigeria can do far better, and by the grace of God, Tradomedical revolution, will begin from Edo state. Roots and herbs, is the way to pure health.
