NULGE Exco Pays Courtesy, Solidarity Visit To LG Chairman
The members of Executive of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Esan central Chapter, was today, Monday 17th March 2025, led by the Chairman of the Chapter, Comrade Patience Uwadiale on a courtesy visit to the executive Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere Ainiyelenhimi.
Speaking, on behalf of the NULGE exco, Comrade Uwadiale who congratulated the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government Area, on his emergence as the Chairman of the local government, and also commended the efforts of the Chairman in his pragmatic and practical leadership style, saying; "we are here on a courtesy visit, and also on a solidarity visit, to make the Chairman understand that NULGE exist in this local government...
"we are happy to have a Chairman like you, who from every indication, has listening ears, and has evidently been responding to the yearnings of the people of this local government, according to the order of priority".
"We wish to draw your attention to the fact that, the welfare of staff should be a top priority, and in line with this, we are also requesting that the training and development of staff, is of prime importance".
Responding, the Chairman, Rt. Hon. Iyere who thanked the union exco for their felicitation, and coming to identify with him, said the visit is merely a formal one, as he is familiar with all the members of the exco, adding that, he is always ready to assist NULGE in whatever area possible, within the purveiw of his office.
Othe members of executive of NULGE that accompanied Comrade Patience Uwadiale, the Chairman of the union on the visit to the Chairman of the local government, are: Comrade Raymond Omomele, the Vice Chairman,
Comrade Charles Okoruwa, Secretary and Comrade Godwin Oniha, Treasurer.
Others include; Comrade Emmanuel Odenore, Assistant Secretary, Comrade Friday Abhulimen, Auditor, as well as departmental representatives.
