Esan Central LG Chairman, Pays Courtesy Visit To Okaijesan of Esanland
... promised to takeover payment of palace staff salaries

Today, Saturday 29th March 2025, the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere Ainiyelenhimi, paid a courtesy visit to the Okaijesan of Esanland, and Ojirrua of Irrua Kingdom, Alhaji W. O Momodu II, JP, CON at his palace, Eguare-Irrua to congratulate him on his long reign on the throne of his ancestors, and to formally inform him of his position as the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government Area.
Speaking on behalf of the Chairman, to the Okaijesan, High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, the Onagbonsoboleamen of Esanland, said; "...the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government area, has come to visit you today, to congratulate you on your long years on the throne, as well as to formally inform you that, he is the new Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area, even though, he had earlier done so informally, before now".
The Chairman, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere, then used the opportunity to announce to the Okaijesan that, beginning from this month, March 2025, the local government Council, will begin to pay the salaries of the palace staff.
Responding, the Ojirrua of Irrua, and the Okaijesan of Esanland, who thanked Esan Central Council boss for the honour accorded him, prayed for his success as the Chairman of the local government, saying; "this palace is your home, please feel free to visit the palace at anytime.
"I have been paying my staff, from the little money at my disposal, but, this responsibility of the payment of my palace staff, that you have decided to undertake now, is a great relief to me".
Also present in the palace, are High Chief Thomas Aghemelo, the Ojiewolo of Irrua Kingdom, High Chief Olu Aire, High Chief Rotimi Olu, amongst others.
