Governor Okpebholo's 100 Days In Office, Worth Celebrating
-Amb. Odion Oriaifoh
Governor Monday Okpebholo's 100 days in office, is a phenomenon that is worth celebrating.
We should continually celebrate progress of our state, as we celebrate those that are making the progress happen.
Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, that was almost choked out of existence, can now breathe some fresh air. The Benin/Auchi road, that was a death trap, now has a new lease of life, as the various ongoing palliative measures on the road, has gone a long way in making travelling on the road, less cumbersome. Loss of lives and destruction of properties through cult related violence, has subsided. The construction of an overhead bridge, to ease the incessant gridlock in Ramat Park, Benin city, is currently ongoing, some dilapidated school buildings in Edo south are being renovated. All of these, and many more, has been done, courtesy the less talking, but more actions governor, all within his first hundred days in office.
The people of Edo state can now see the difference between a 'talking and doing nothing governor', and 'a practical governor that has introduced practical governance into Edo state administration.
I congratulate Governor Monday Okpebholo on this feat. He has started very well. It can only get better.
