The Edo state Secretary of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Comrade Godwin Aghimien, has warned all youth leaders also known as Okaighele to keep off motor parks as they have no business doing with the drivers in motor parks.
The Edo state Secretary of the NURTW gave this warning to the Okaiyeni today, 20th December 2024 in an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online.
Speaking, Comrade Aghimien said; "The Okaiyeni should keep off park matters, as motor parks are made for drivers, not for the community to be collecting money. We are aware that, some persons are sponsoring them on this, but it will be in their best interest for them to desist from interfering in park matters, as Edo state chapter of the NURTW, under its new leadership, is rebranded.
We don't want conflicts in this government and we don't want any one, or group of people to give us bad image.
Continuing, the Edo state Secretary of NURTW, who made it clear that, they have been charged by the state government to ensure orderliness in the conduct of their activities, added that, the National Union of Road Transport Workers, will not hesitate to hand over any ering person that attempts to interfere with their activities over the appropriate law enforcement agency.
