No Vacuum In Government

The suspension of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area Chairman, by Edo State House of Assembly, EDHA, and the Impeachment of the former Leader of the House, Hon. Victor Ehis Okosun, shouldn't create any vacuum in the administration of Esan Central local government area, as there is no vacuum in government.
The above statement was made by the acting Chairman of Esan Central local government area, Hon. Kelvin Iyere Ainiyanlenhimi, in an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, this morning, Sunday, 29th December 2024, while responding to the supposed memo signed by Obagho Phillip Orukpe, who claims to be the Chief Press Secretary to Esan Central LGA.
Speaking, the acting Chairman of the local government, Hon. Kelvin Iyere, said; "while I sympathise with Obagho Phillip Orukpe, and his principal, i need not remind him that the machinery of the government of Esan Central local government area, must continue to operate, as the embattled erstwhile Chairman, and his Deputy are currently out of the picture.
"The suspension of the Chairman by Edo State House of Assembly, automatically made the position of the chairmanship to fall on the shoulders of Hon. Okosun, the erstwhile Leader of the House. Hon. Okosun, was on Wednesday, the 18th of December, 2024, impeached by two-thirds majority of the Councilors, as a result of the vote of no confidence on him, due to his gross misconduct and inefficiency, and they unanimously agreed for me to be the Leader, hence the acting Chairman.
"Should Esan Central local government area be held to ransom because of the absence of Hon. Paul Iyoha?"
Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere who advised those trying to truncate the wheels of development, progress and peace in Esan central local government area, to desist from allowing the devil to use them, also made it clear that, there was never a time that thugs were used to gain entrance to anywhere, and that, he never at any time claim to have the backing of Edo state government, as the process that led to his being the acting Chairman, has the full backing of due process.
It will be recalled that, the appointments of all the political appointees, as well as that of all the casual workers of the local government, has been terminated.
