Bury Your Heads In Shame

Hon. Chief Robert Okoinomen, aka the Oduma of the Universe, has advised the members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to bury their heads in shame instead of finding faults in the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo who is only one month in office, saying; "what Obaseki and the PDP couldn't achieve in eight years, Governor Monday Okpebholo is set to achieve it in one year, going by the speed with which he has taken off".
Chief Okoinomen gave this advice to members of Edo PDP in an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, today, Tuesday 17th 2024.
Speaking, Chief Okoinomen, said; "We have seen the deceits, scams, fake promises and wanton disregard for lives and properties that characterized the administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki in the last eight years. May Edo state never experience such government ever again.
"In less than one month of his swearing into office, Governor Monday Okpebholo increased the subvension to Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, he reinstated AAU staff that were summarily dismissed by the Special Intervention Team, SIT, set up by Obaseki to destroy the University, he sworn into office the judges that were victimized by Obaseki, the flagging off of the construction of new roads, as well as the flag off of the first ever, flyover in Edo state, amongst several others, are enough to make members of Edo PDP to shut their mouths and bury their faces in shame.
Continuing, Chief Okoinomen who said, members of Edo state PDP are pained because they are shocked to see Senator Okpebholo performing to the delight of Edo people, added that; "if Ighodalo had won, and it was Ighodalo that was performing like this, they would have been hailing him to high heavens, but thank God, Asuelimen Ighodalo lost the election, otherwise, he would have continued in same manner of empty promises and scams that his boss, Obaseki is known for".
Finally, Chief Okoinomen said; "I want to remind all Edo people that, Senator Monday Okpebholo who promised that a new Edo state will rise, meant every word of the statement. I advice all those that do not mean well for Edo state, to shut their mouths and get something productive to do, as Governor Monday Okpebholo is focused and cannot be distracted from his objective of building Edo state that every well meaning Edolite, and Nigerian will be proud of".
