Time For Asuelimen Ighodalo To Make Himself A Hero -Oduma

Chief Robert Okoinemen aka Oduma of the Universe, has advised the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the September 21 2024 Edo state gubernatorial election to take advantage of the current political situation in Esanland in particular and Edo state in general, to make himself a hero.

Chief Okoinemen gave this advice in an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online.

Quoting Shakespeare, in one of his books titled 'Julius Caesar', saying; "There is a tide in the affairs of men, which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries..."

This "tide", in the affairs of Asuelimen Ighodalo, Chief Okoinemen said, looks very good for him, if only he can manage it well to his advantage; saying, he will be making a great name for himself and his children, particularly in Esanland, if he is able to manage it well; otherwise, he will end up in giving himself an image of someone that is averse to the progress and development of Esanland, as Esan people in particular and the people of Edo state in general are so far very happy with the performance of Governor Monday Okpebholo, as they look forward to seeing him actualising all his plans for the benefit of the people.

Continuing, Chief Okoinemen said; "you will recall that Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, once advised Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the former governor of Edo state, to thread softly, and not make enemies while in power, as he stand to be more respected, admired and loved when he is out of government, than when he is in government? In same vein, I am advising Asuelimen Ighodalo to ignore those around him that are wrongly advising him, and team up with Governor Monday Okpebholo in building Esan land, and in building Edo state".

"I have a strong feeling that, some powerful and well meaning Esan people/leaders are also currently advising Asuelimen Ighodalo in same line". Asuelimen Ighodalo should therefore listen to these voices of good reasonings. He said.
