In an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, CP Ibadin who hailed the efforts of Governor Okpebholo, in supporting security agencies, even before he became the Senator representing Edo central Senatorial district, added that, Edo state is lucky to have a governor who is ready to support security agencies, hence put an end to the various crimes that has been putting Edo state in the news for the bad reasons.
CP Ibadin said; "tackling security challenges is not the same as tackling other challenges. We must be pragmatic and tactical in our approach so we can achieve maximum result at the end of the day".
"His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo takes security matters seriously, and this is evident from the commitment he made towards the established of the Atanakpa Security Network in Edo central, and you can see that, now that he is the governor of Edo state, he is exercising the same energy at the state level".
Continuing, CP Ibadin said; "for me, whatever needs to be done, in other to keep our state safe, must be well done. The governor has made his pronouncement about cultism and other criminal activities that has been making life unbearable for law abiding people in the state, and that pronouncement, will be followed to the letter. But with respect to the strategies to be employed, we will keep that close to our hearts; God helping us, we expect Edo people to see positive results, and that is more important".
