The people of Edo state has been advised to get ready for progress and development like never before, under the administration of Senator Monday Okpebholo as governor of Edo state, as his record will be outstanding.
The above opinion was expressed by a Leader in Ward four of Esan central local government area of Edo state, retired Lieutenant Colonel John Inegbebor CNC, while speaking on the sorry state of affairs that Edo state is currently in, as orchestrated by the eight years' administration of governor Godwin Obaseki.
Inegbebor said; "they called Comrade Adams Oshiomhole a Tailor, but surprisingly, a Tailor Performed far better than Obaseki that they called a technocrat and brain box".
"In same vein, Senator Monday Okpebholo, who they called a panel beater, will definitely perform better than Obaseki".
The retired Lieutenant Colonel, who said, Senator Monday Okpebholo surprised everyone by scaling through all huddles to become a Senator, scaled through all challenges and criticisms to become the governor elect, will definitely perform excellently to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Edo state.
Continuing, Inegbebor said; to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people, does not need big titles, but by simplicity, humility and tact, which Senator Monday Okpebholo posses, Edo state should get ready for a new level of progress and development. "Senator Okpebholo, the governor elect, is not a man of many words, but a promise keeper who will fulfill all his electoral promises on his assumption into office".
Finally, Inegbebor who congratulated the people of Esanland for supporting the emergence of an Edo governor of Esan extraction, also thanked the Ojirrua of Irrua Kingdom, Alh. W.O Momodu II, JP, CON, for his support for Senator Monday Okpebholo, saying; "the Okaijesan said he wants to witness a governor of Edo state come from his domain, and indeed, it is so today".
