2024 EDO GUBER: It Will Be A tragedy For Edo People To Be Deceived A Second Time. -Dr. Igbaekemen

In view of the upcoming 2024 Edo state governorship election slated for September 2024, a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 general election and Director, Data and Intelligence, of Akpakomiza Support Group, Dr. Goddy Osa Igbaekemen, in an exclusive chat with Winning Media, said; "...Edo state has never been this deceived with well concocted propaganda and unfounded allegations, simply to deceive the gullible ones in Edo state".
"...It will be a big tragedy if the people of Edo state should again, fall for the same format this time around".
"...It is clear that the PDP have nothing to campaign with, other than their usual empty slogans of deceits".
Reacting to the eight years of nothingness, but woe, calamities, sorrow, pains and regrets that the people of Edo state have been experiencing for the past close to eight years now, Dr. Igbaekemen said; "I wonder what the PDP led government of Obaseki is campaigning with today, other than, "Asue, E GO DO AM", or "MAN WEY SABI."
"Edo people are waiting to hear what Obaseki has done in the past eight years of his administration, to impact on the lives of the people of Edo state but all we are hearing from Obaseki and his co-travelers, are empty slogans and grammar that does no one no good".
"...Just like they campaigned with nothing other than "4+4 TORGBA" in 2020, today, they are saying E GO DO AM, MAN WEY SABI we should not allow them to again deceive us this time around. These people have been playing on the intelligence and patience of Edo people. This is becoming worrisome and questionable, as it will be tragic if Edo people should again fall for this childish way of campaigning, as if campaigns are comedies".
Continuing, Dr.Igbaekeme who maintained that in a democratic dispensation, people vote for those to represent them in government and in return, expect the dividends of democracy from those they have voted for, added that,
What is expected of Obaseki, and the members of the PDP, is for them to tell us what they have done to positively impact the lives of Edo people. Not "Asue, E GO DO AM", "MAN WEY SABI". These talks are bullshit". He said angrily.
Dr. Igbaekemen who concluded by saying; "I disdain people that talk too much, but do nothing"; Also advised Asuelimem lghodalo to return to his legal and banking practice as he has no business in politics and governance as the inccubent that imposed him on the PDP, has nothing to show for his eight years of governance in Edo state.
