As the flow of reactions and condemnations to the recent discovery of Edo state government's hidden Rice Palliative meant for distribution to the people of Edo state continues, the group, Akpakomiza Support Group, has also reacted to the development in a Press Statement, where they described Edo state government's action as "appalling, worrisome and questionable".

The Press Statement, Signed by the Media Director, of the Group, Mrs. Uche, reads in part; "The attention of the members and leadership of Akpakomiza Support Group has been drawn to the latest discovery of Edo state government's insensitivities to the plight of Edo people by the recent discovery of hoarded rice palliative from the federal government of Nigeria, meant for Edo people, that was discovered in a private residence in Benin, Edo state..."

"To say the least, is to say, it is appalling, worrisome and questionable

to think that a government that claims to be responsible and responsive to the people, can be hiding bags of rice that are meant for the impoverished traumatized and highly vulnerable Edo people".

Continuing, the group Condemned what they described as a shameful act of Edo state government, even as they also used the opportunity to remind Edo people that, the time for change has come, saying the people of Edo state have experienced more than enough of the current state government's activities of deceits, woes and evil manipulations.
