The recent discovery of bags of Rice in a private residence in Benin, supplied to Edo state government by the Federal government, as palliative to Edo state people has been described as "a shame of a government" by the All Progressives Congress, APC, Assistant Deputy Director for Mobilisation, in Edo central Senatorial district, Hon. Chief Robert Okoinemen, aka the Oduma of the universe.
Chief Okoinemen so described the current government of Edo state, in an exclusive chat with Winning Media News Online on Thursday, August 1st, 2024.
Chief Okoinemen, who said; "I have never seen an irresponsible and insensitive government like the current government of Edo state", added that, "the right and best time to correct all the mistakes Edo people made of choosing the wrong persons to be in the saddle of government in Edo state, is now". By September, Chief Oduma said, Edo people will speak with one voice to show Obaseki and his godson, Asuelimen Ighodalo the exit door from Osadebey Avenue.
Chief Okoinemen concluded by advising all eligible voters in Edo State to be resolute in ensuring that a new Edo state that we all anticipate eventually emerge by September, as Senator Monday Okpebholo, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congres, is the only candidate that has lived long enough with Edo people to understand the plight of the people, and he is humane and empathetic enough to solve the myriad of problems that Edo people are currently faced with.
