A member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, and currently the Director, Data and Intelligence of the Akpakomiza Support Group, for the 2024 Edo Guber, Dr. Goddy Osa Igbaekemen, has revealed that, Asuelimen Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate, who was the Chairman of Edo State economic team, is part of Obaseki's misrule, as such Edo people shouldn't encourage failures by voting for him.

Dr. Igbaekemen made this revelations in an exclusive chat with Winning Media News Online recently.

Dr. Igbaekemen, who said; "let Asuelimen Ighodalo mention any project he attracted to Edo Central Senatorial district throughout Obaseki's eight years of misgovernance", added that, " Asuen should name any Esan person he assisted in gaining employment anywhere. He should mention a contract he assisted anybody in Edo state to secure as the Chairman of Sterling Bank, Dangote Subsidiary Group, Nigeria Economic Summit Group, Nigeria Breweries, where he is said to have influence".

Continuing, Dr. Igbaekemen who said Asuelimen will be abandoned on election day, same way he abandoned his Ewohimi people, and people of Esan land all these years, added that; "...unfortunately, I sympathise with him for allowing gluttonous politicians to turn him to an ATM machine as he is continually dispensing money to political jobbers to speak and write for him, even as they display their inglorance in the public space, saying; "what Asuelimen is doing at the moment, is damage control and a mere show of shame that will not take him anywhere".

"It is obvious that Asuen was deceived into this Edo governorship project, thinking that Obaseki can toy with the intelligence of Edo people and make him a governor, just as Oshiomhole did, and succeeded in imposing Obaseki on Edo People". The political scenario, he said,  are not the same.

Dr. Igbaekemen said; "we are not negotiating Akpakomiza's success in wining this September election, and becoming the next governor of Edo state, especially considering Asuelimen's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and Appeal court's case that boarders on unlawful exclusion of some PDP delegates in participating in the primaries, that are clearly against him, that points to the fact that, Asuelimen Ighodalo is not a candidate in the September 21st governorship election and he is far from occupying Osadebey avenue as a governor of Edo Nigeria.
