The Edo central Senatorial district to directorate of the Contact and Mobilization unit of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, following the Inauguration of the Edo state chapter recently, has set their agenda on how to ensure that the right awareness is created in ensuring that the All Progressive Congress, win the upcoming 2023 Presidential election.

Speaking with a team of Journalists on Saturday, the 16th of December 2022, after his meeting with Edo central Local Government Areas, LGA's, and the ward Coordinators, the Edo state Assistant Director, who is also the Leader, Esan Central Senatorial district, of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the PCC, Dr. Goddy Igbaekeme, pointed out that, the proactive nature of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, is not in doubt, as the Contact and Mobilization unit, was the first to be inaugurated in Edo state and in the South-South. Dr. Igbaekemen thanked the Edo state Director General of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate, Chief Lucky Imasuen, a former Edo state Deputy Governor, and Hon. Dr. Samson Osagie, the Edo state Director of the Directorate, as well as all the energetic members across the three Senatorial districts for their various inputs in making the Inauguration a huge success.

Dr. Igbaekemen, went on to say; "...there appears to be some i's to dot and some t's to cross and the contact and Mobilization Directorate will do the needful..." He addes that, the presence of Tinubu/Shettima will be felt in the five local government areas in Edo central in the coming days, as modalities has been put in place to ensure that no stone is left unturned in ensuring total victory across board for all APC candidates.

Continuing, Dr. Igbaekemen who stressed that, whatever the Directorate of Contact and Mobilization will eventually be doing in Edo central, will be in synergy with the existing APC structure in the state, assured that Tinubu/Shettima candidacy, is a team to beat in the upcoming election.


While responding to the new wave of popularity of Obi/Datti candidacy of the Labour Party, Dr. Igbaekemen, said; "...there is no basis to compare a Lion with a Pussycat"


Dr. Goddy Osa Igbaekemen, along with some key members of the Directorate, later visited prince Odi Okojie, who is also a member of Edo central Senatorial district Contact and Mobilization unit of the PCC and the APC candidate for the Esan North East/Esan South East Federal Constituency to discuss further on strategies to employ for a safe and soft landing for the Contact and Mobilization Directorate.
