 -Amb. Oriaifo

The government of Dr. Asuelimen Akintunde Ighodalo, should he win the upcoming Edo governorship election, will be an extension of Obaseki's Government of woes, where the emasculation, if not total shutdown of Edo state University, Ekpoma will continue, where the deplorable condition of state roads will become worse, where the confiscation of people's properties, demolition of houses, emasculation of Edo state House of Assembly and several other unfortunate phenomenon, that are all evidenced in governor Obaseki's government, will definitely continue.

Ambassador Kessington Odion Oriaifo, an All Progressives Congress, APC, Chieftain, who was a delegate and an observer who represented Nigeria at the just concluded 2024 World Youth Day Celebration, that held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, USA, sounded this warning to all voters in Edo state, as he said, voting for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, is a red flag, adding that; "Asuelimen Ighodalo's government, will be a part two of Obaseki's Gov't of eight years of nothingness where the weeping of the people of Edo state will definitely continue".

Amb. Oriaifo who made this revelation while speaking with Winning Media News online recently, said; "Birds of the same feathers flock together, as such, Asuelimen can never be better than Obaseki", continued by saying; "...any attempt for anyone to think of voting for Asuelimen Ighodalo, is a red flag. We have suffered enough, and now, we are tired of audio promises that never saw the light of day".

"We thought Obaseki to be a brain box and Technocrat that will take Edo state to a level higher than the way he met it, with critical physical infrastructures that will cut across the three Senatorial Districts, but eight years later, can anyone tell us what the people of Edo Central and Edo North has so far benefitted?

So far, Obaseki's government is the worst government in the history of Edo state".

"With, or without politics, some of us will continue to live our lives, but our folks, and families in our villages, are often at the receiving end of irresponsive governments; this is one of the reasons why I had to set up the Oriaifo Foundation, to support many of the underprivileged in our communities who are neglected by bad government".

Finally, Ambassador Kessington Odion Oriaifo advised Edo Youths and voters in general, to look out for that candidate that has empathy and is sincere about his purpose. They should look out for that candidate that is passionate about the development of Edo state, and who has demonstrated this passion, not by mere words of the mouth, but by his actions, even before he declared his intention to serve. That person, he said, is Senator Monday Okpebholo.
