The Edo Central, Deputy Director for Contact and Mobilisation of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Campaign Council, Chief Robert Okoinemen, has described the attack on Senator Monday Okpebholo's convoy as a rage in futility.

Chief Okoinemen, who said, it is very unfortunate that a policemen lost his life in the process of the senseless attack, by hooligans that were sent by those that are tasked and responsible for the safety of lives and properties, added that, what the people of Edo state are going through in the past eight years, is only a passing phase that will end in the next two months.

According to Chief Okoinemen; "...we have witnessed the midnight inauguration of Edo state House of Assembly, and how thugs led by the Chief Security Officer at the government House were used to chase the EDHA 14 out of Edo state. We have witnessed the demolition of houses that belonged to perceived enemies of those in government in Edo state, we have witnessed the attack on our traditional institutions, we have seen how Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, is being emasculated. What else is there to see at this quarter to go time of Mr. Godwin Obaseki"? He asked.

The attack on Senator Monday Okpebholo's convoy, is purely an attack in futility, as the time for such irresponsible acts, in this civilized world, is gone and gone for good. Chief Okoinemen said.
