FORMER IG RESIGNS AS CHAIRMAN, PSC

 A FORMER Inspector-General of Police, Musiliu Smith, has resigned from his position as Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC). 

His resignation may have been in connection with the recent scuffle between the police force and the commission over the recruitment exercise. 


It was gathered that the chairman tendered his resignation to President Muhammadu Buhari last week, but got approval yesterday....

By: Oriaifoh Godwins Edo state has been relatively peaceful in the past one year of Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration. However, the state, has been witnessing questionable  pockets of criminalities in recent times. Senator Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo state, on assumption of office, maintained that he has zero tolerance for criminal activities and all form of criminalities.
