ESAN WEST PDP, ESAN WEST PEOPLE, PLEASE HEAR MY PLEA, FOR A BETTER ESAN WEST

The time has come for the people of Esan West local government area to take advantage of the current tide and steer the ‘ship’ of our local government to safety.
I say this because, there is always a tide in the affairs of men, but this time around, the people of Esan West, particularly the leadership and members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the entire people of Esan west, should take advantage of this unique opportunity at our doorstep to rally round and support Arc. Erazua to emerge as Chairman of Esan west local government come 2023.
We, the people of Esan west have this unique opportunity to choose the right candidate with vision and passion to actualize the positive change that we have been yearning for. It shouldn’t be business as usual.
I met with Architect Nicholas Erazua and I had an extensive discussion with him and concluded that this is the man the cap fits.
Erazua is an architect by profession and he is one that has a wide range of experience in networking, coordinating and actualizing ideas. He is a ‘multifaceted minded’ person. He has a proven record in assisting a number of persons, communities, farmers and market women to actualise their dreams.
For example, Arc. Erazua discussed a number of feasible agricultural pilot scheme ideas with me, some of which he personally facilitated in the past with his own resources. For example, in….he brought professional farmers with modern hybrid seeds and did a presentation to Esan west local government in this area. Again, he also came with farmers that are into large scale piggery, poultry and other forms of animal husbandry. That meeting, according to him took place at the palace of the Onojie of Ekpoma. Some farmers in Ekpoma even up to some in Irrua, benefitted from the professional advice given by the professional farmers.
However, from the interaction they had with the farmers, it was discovered that finance was the major problem the farmers are faced with. He then came up with the idea of organising farmers into cooperatives which according to him, they have started doing.
Arc. Erazua has the capacity to squeeze water out of stones in the positive sense.
If I may ask, at this time that our national economy is in a state of quagmire, isn’t this the kind of person that every local government should desire to have at the helm of their affairs?
Again, in the course of our discussion, Arc. Erazua said to me; “… in Esan West, we farm pineapple and we have it in abundance, we have farmers that are into the cultivation of yam, cassava, etc…. I have contacts and I am in partnership with persons who are into large scale poultry farming, cultivation of tubber crops and such other crops like hybrid tomatoes, pepper, cucumbers carrots, potatoes etc..... We have able and willing youths who only need to be given an opportunity and that opportunity, I can give…”
It is one thing for us, the people of Esan West to look out for opportunities, and it is another thing for us to be able to identify one when it comes knocking. I dare say an opportunity is right here with us, staring at us in the face, and I hope and pray we realize this and take full advantage of it.
There are Chairmanship aspirants for Esan West Local Government Area, but Arc. Nickolas Erazua, is one with a difference. I saw his sincerity of purpose and his willingness to leave positive marks in the sand of time of Esan West. I am sure we the people of Esan West are ready to embrace this?
My dear people of Esan west, the multiplier effect of this venture is enormous. Again, I am sure this initiative will eventually be copied by other local government administrations in Esan land.
I quizzed him on several other issues, including water, roads and security of lives and properties. This 'man of many parts' proffered intelligent solutions to them. However, one thing that I saw in him, is his passion and sincerely of purpose.
Man, is often not in want of ideas, but the ability to transform the ideas to reality is often lacking. From my one-on-one discussion with Arc. Erazua, he does not only have the ideas, he also has the will power and passion to transform the ideas to reality… He told me that he is in a hurry to make a difference In Esan West Local government.
The people of Esan west should listen to my plea and thank me later.
